ASSEMBLER

We are a small manufacturer of electronic instruments located in central St. Louis County. We are celebrating 45 years in business in 2024. We are currently seeking a full-time Assembler to join our team. We are an ISO certified company with a full research and development team that has over 40 years of experience. Perhaps you enjoy sewing or you have hobbies using your hands. You may be a great fit for this position.

Skills Required

• Strong eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to assemble very small objects
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• Demonstrated dependability and strong attendance
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Successful completion of skills assessment as part of interview process
• Soldering experience, a plus but not required
• No prior assembly experience required. If you have the required skills, we will train you.
• Ability to stand/sit for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities may include

• Building and assembling products working with small hand tools such as screwdrivers
• Operating a desktop computer to process work orders
• Keeping the production space clean and organized
• Working collaboratively with the team to accomplish each day’s production goals
• Reading and understanding instructions and measurements as specified
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Reporting any quality, safety or process issues promptly to your supervisor.
• Inspecting completed work before sending it to the next workstation

Environment

• Privately owned business
• Temperature controlled environment
• 6:00 am - 2:30 pm shift Monday-Friday
• On-site parking
• Overtime may be required as production needs dictate.
