Seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager with experience managing I.T.S, Generators, Roadway Signing, Wastewater/ Water Treatment plants, Highway Lighting, and FDOT projects for a Full-time direct hire opportunity with our client in St. Augustine, FL. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! Offers: Paid Apprenticeship and training opportunities through the 4-year Florida Electrical Apprenticeship & Training (FEAT) program.Offers: Paid certifications such as Crane Certification (rigging, signaling, operating), and IMSA, MOT, Traffic Signal Tech Level I, Level II, and Level III.Salary: $50,000 to $75,000 Based on ExperienceRequired experience:
- High School Diploma/ GED Required
- Computer Skills above Average (Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore Etc.)
- Experienced in the submittal process.
- Experience in permitting.
- Experience in blueprint reading.
- Must be able to receive deliveries and occasionally operate a forklift. Will train.
- Have Strong Communication skills.
- Organized Administrative Tasks
- Good Time Management Skills
- Strong Attention to Detail is a Must
- Order Materials, Create Purchase Orders, Track Material Lead Time & Material Delivery Dates.
- Complete Project specific Utility Locates and Track the progress throughout the project.
- Think clearly, remain calm and demonstrate problem-solving skills using good judgment.
- Work Cohesively with co-workers as part of a team or independently as project needs arise.
- Follow directions thoroughly.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- A clean driving record is required.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Previous Project Management Assistant Role or Electrical Related work history.
