Deer Oaks Behavioral Health, in collaboration with Med Management Associates, is on a mission to provide top-tier psychiatric and psychological services to the rapidly growing senior community residing in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We are currently seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our compassionate and dynamic team in St. Louis, MO.

Your Role:

As a part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll be working within nursing home settings alongside psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and nursing home staff. Your role as a Psychiatrist is pivotal in conducting psychiatric assessments and providing ongoing medication management, all within an interdisciplinary framework that ensures superior patient outcomes. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to offer guidance and supervision to our Nurse Practitioners, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities as a Psychiatrist at Deer Oaks will include:

• Conducting psychiatric assessments to provide comprehensive insights into our patients' mental health needs.

• Managing medication regimens and ensuring that patients receive the appropriate treatment and care.

• Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to create a holistic and patient-centric approach to care.

• Depending on the situation, you may also be involved in supervising our mid-level clinicians, ensuring the highest quality of care.
