Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops computer systems specifications that fit with the government's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities
• Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage
• Responsible for installation and maintenance of storage, networking, and server hardware
• Ensures availability of development systems to end users through continuous system monitoring and issue remediation
• Applies required security updates and implementations mandated by DoD cyber security regulations
• Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job

Required Skills:

• 5 years of related experience
• Hands-on experience working with servers, routers, switches, storage power supply, etc.
• Experience working in a data center environment preferred
• Ability to work after hours and/or on-call when needed

Required Clearance

• Active DoD TS/SCI (with ability to obtain CI poly)
