CDG is a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm headquartered in St. Louis with offices in Wyoming, Illinois, and North Carolina. The firm has approximately 80 personnel with capabilities in electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, civil, and architectural disciplines primarily servicing the fields of infrastructure, power, mining, industrial, and agriculture. CDG is known for solving some of the most complex problems in challenging environments and our staff is expected to regularly engage in high level problem solving to enable our clients to be successful.

Job Description
CDG Engineers is looking for a driven individual that is excited about solving difficult engineering problems with the ability to innovate with unique solutions and new tools. CDG desires an individual who wants to learn new skills and demonstrates an ability to learn those new skills quickly. Quality in design and responsiveness to clients and fellow engineers is a must for this position.
Successful applicant will be responsible for independently and collaboratively solving substation engineering problems for CDG's clients. Typical projects include transmission tower design; transmission and distribution line design; substation design (civil, structural, and electrical); transmission and distribution studies; SCADA design, implementation, commissioning, and testing; and system protection (relaying) design, implementation, and commissioning.
