Job Title: High School Baseball Head Coach

Location: Merit Academy

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive and competitive baseball program for high school student-athletes.
• Plan and conduct engaging and productive practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.
• Evaluate players' abilities and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and improvement.
• Create a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and accountability.
• Collaborate with the school Athletic Director and parents to ensure a supportive and well-rounded athletic experience for student-athletes.
• Schedule and coordinate games and other team activities in accordance with school and league regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
• Extensive knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with players, parents, school staff, and community members.
• Valid coaching certification and/or willingness to obtain required certifications.
