Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of custom solutions and third-party integrations in the ServiceNow environment. As a Junior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, coding, testing, and implementing software changes, while ensuring the quality and efficiency of our ServiceNow solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and collaborate with team members to address business requirements and drive innovation within our ServiceNow platform.
Duties:
Develops the application including configuration, report development and data migration, where applicable.
Performs custom development (as required) and 3rd party integrations.
Carries out unit-testing and defect resolution.
Carries out migration of the changes to production.
Assists with technical design and documentation.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Associate Degree with 4 years of prior relevant experience.
HS / GED and 6 plus years of experience
Configuration/development skills in ServiceNow environments
Experience with JavaScript
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Preferred Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
Understanding of the SDLC
Must be able to obtain CI Poly
Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
