Electrolux Group is Hiring a Technician I - Maintenance Near Springfield, TN

The Central Stores Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while also ensuring that all tools, PPE, and incoming parts are stocked neatly, correctly, and are available for use by production and maintenance personnel.
The Central Stores Attendant also ensures that production staff, maintenance crews, and all other plant personnel are provided the items needed for the repair of equipment, personal protection, and the needs of production in a courteous and timely manner.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThese are generally duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as the detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent.
Maintain the customer service counter.
Stock incoming freight from small and large parcel carriers.
Prepare inbound parts, tooling and consumables for stocking and distribution.
Assist the Central Stores Lead, and other Central Stores personnel with the needs of the plant.
Work with the Central Stores Lead to resolve any discrepancies with receipts or lost items.
Keep the tool crib organized for ease of locating of parts and supplies.
Performs and follows all 5S plant standards and requirements.
Maintain organization and a clean working environment.
Deliver tools, parts, and PPE to various departments by hand, forklift or using a hand truck when needed.
Assist the MRO receiving department with the receiving/transport of goods when necessary.
Mark and identify defective tools, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
Works overtime when needed to support company and departmental goals.
Works with the Central Stores team to achieve daily and monthly MRO goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Computer, Office, Excel, and keyboarding skills.
  • Organizational Skills, understanding and knowledge of 5S.
  • Be dependable, self-driven, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
  • Previous tool crib experience in fast paced manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Ability to lift and push up to 50lbs.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and be able to identify a variation of machine components.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
  • Be able to use hand tools in a safe and proper way (Drills, hammer, screwdrivers, pry bar, power tools, etc.)
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate machines properly and safely.
  • Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping, climbing stairs, twisting, and bending frequently (more than 4 hours of each activity).
  • Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have great customer service skills.
  • Be able to multitask while performing well in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone., the environment is an industrial facility (Noisy, dusty, etc.). The employee frequently is required to push carts full of material to appropriate stocking locations. The employee is required to stand and lift materials to shelves for stocking. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
