WilgusIQ is Hiring a CAD Technician Near Springfield, MO
Wilgus IQ fabricates stone countertops using machinery programmed with specialized CAD software. The CAD technician will be trained in the use of these specialized softwares, but should have a baseline understanding of how to render objects in a CAD based program. A background in construction would be a plus, but is not required.
Daily activities would include reviewing provided field measurements for kitchen and vanity tops (DXF format) and converting/uploading them to machinery for production using the relevant proprietary software. CAD Technicians may also be asked to assist with project-related problem solving or for assistance rendering complex shapes for quoting purposes. Good communications skills and a detail-oriented mindset are important to ensure no critical information is omitted that could lead to issues further down the production line.
