Overview:
We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in urgent care, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology.
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray technology
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Follow protocols to ensure high-quality images are produced
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and diagnose patients
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Experience in urgent care, nuclear medicine, or diagnostic radiology is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
