Specialty Products and Insulation is Hiring a Remote INSIDE SALES

Meet, greet and assist customers both in person and on the telephone. Assist customers in obtaining correct parts, part numbers and equipment to fulfill their needs. Maintain all aspects of inventory (i.e. sales orders, service orders, invoices, shipping, receiving, purchase orders, packing slips, receipts, vendor contact, adjustments, cycle counts) in operating system.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Positively interact with customers about products and services we offer
  • Acquire part numbers needed to process customer orders (source unknown part numbers through provided manuals/catalogs)
  • Receiving items from vendors – inspecting and identifying items received, count/measure items compared to packing slip/purchase order, putting items away promptly and orderly
  • Fill customer orders – identifying need, obtaining parts, sourcing parts, pulling parts, counting parts, and shipping parts to customers
  • Purchasing – buy, and resell items via purchase order system, according to company standards
  • Ship parts to and from other company warehouse locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory – accurately record additions, adjustments, and removal of items from stock, according to company standards
  • Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts, as needed
  • Backup to parts shipping and receiving clerk, as needed
Requirements:
o 2 years in customer service environment
o 2 years working in computerized inventory system
o High level understanding of a computerized operating system
o Parts experience, mechanical aptitude preferred
o Valid driver’s license and evidence of insurability
Company Policies:
Alcohol and drug testing required. Company has strict policy on personal cell phone use, including texting, and internet web use, including Facebook and email, during company paid time.
