Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with strong customer service, communication, and sales skills to join our team as a Utility Service Outside Sales Rep. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956 and were recently named one of the Best Places to Work in 2023 by Arkansas Business. More information about us can be found below or on our website at www.hugghall.com.About The PositionUtility Service Outside Sales Reps function as part of the Utilities division of the Rental Team and are responsible for achieving sales objectives by managing Industrial and Commercial sales efforts and developing/maintaining business relationships for the needs of Utility products short term rentals.
In This Role You Will
  • Rent Short Term Utility Services Equipment to customers for various uses such a new construction job sites, events, and emergency relief efforts, making sales calls in person and via phone.
  • Promote the Company's Resources through answering questions on products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms
  • Enhance the Customer Experience by consulting with them to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
  • Establish New Accounts by being in the field and focusing on new industrial customers

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year sales related experience
  • Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent with relevant experience - College Degree preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to present and sell at all customer levels
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment while multi-tasking to meet customers' needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS MAY INCLUDE:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of generators and various Utility Services Equipment types
  • Ability to organize and independently manage time
  • Previous management experience preferred
RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE: Account Manager, Territory Manager, Territory Sales, Counter Sales, Rental Sales, Parts Sales, Customer Service Representative
