This position includes a base salary plus monthly commission. The earning potential is great for the right sales person who is eager to generate sales, establish new customers and provide excellent customer service.
Overview of the Position
The position of Sales Representative is a full time position requiring 40 hours per week and reports to the Hanover General Manager. The Sales Representative works to create and foster relationships with new and existing customers by providing a high level of customer service, support and satisfaction with the objective to establish new customers and drive sales with existing customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consistently create and perform customer focused practices, while striving to create a positive customer experience throughout the entire process, from the initial request to final result, working to ensure relationships are created, nurtured and maintained.
Work respectfully and cooperatively with others, in all roles and across all departments, with a goal to create positive working relationships.
Using competitive intel, customer relationships and historical data, strategically identify and target sales opportunities.
Communicate positively and effectively with others including customers, co workers and your supervisor to ensure a clear understanding of questions, issues and resolutions.
Make daily sales calls to potential customers, documenting call activity and customer information as required.
Using the CRM, stay abreast of the sales pipeline, establish leads and stay in tune with prospects to finalize and close the sale.
Align with marketing objectives to provide an exceptional product to our customers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to prepare a variety of products to present at customer facing events.
Attend various trade shows and sales events, which may include overnight stays.
Work with the marketing team to develop strategic long term marketing and sales plans.
Stay focused, create and execute projects through to completion, analyze and evaluate results.
Travel to customer locations as needed, which may require overnight stays.
Qualification and Education Requirements
The Sales Representative should have an understanding of our products, brand standards and various customer product lines. Good organization and communication skills with the ability to work with a wide array of individual personalities. Good computer and data entry skill. Prior sales experience required.
Must be able and willing to travel when needed, with some overnight stays required.
