Senior Helpers - North & Southwest Houston is Hiring a Caregiver Near Spring, TX

Begin a remarkable career that will make a difference in the lives of seniors. Senior Helpers is urgently hiring for caregivers! If you have experience working in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or live in, we’d love for you to join our team. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation as needed.
  • Remind clients to take medications as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role.
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish or others) preferred.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.
