RESPONSIBILITY

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Monitor patrons throughout the pool area
• Respond to emergencies
• Responsible for checking pool passes
• Maintain restrooms and take out the trash
• Maintain swimming pool’s cleanliness and water’s chemistry
• Opens and closes pool on time
• Report any accidents, unusual circumstances, or maintenance problems to the supervisor
• Present professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Possess reliable transportation to and from a job site
• Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.
• Administers first aid in the event of injury rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
