Forge Search is Hiring an Acquisitions Analyst Near Spartanburg, SC

We are partnering with a real estate investment group that is expanding its team by hiring a commercial Acquisitions Analyst. This position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for real estate investment. The role focuses on identifying and executing high-quality investment opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have 1 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investment banking, or related field.

This is an on-site role in Greenville, SC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including cash flow modeling, pro forma projections, and investment return calculations, to evaluate potential real estate acquisitions.
  • Perform market research and due diligence to assess property fundamentals, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Communicate with potential sellers and brokers to gather additional information and negotiate terms.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other documentation for internal review and investor communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the acquisition process from initial sourcing to closing.
  • Assist in negotiating purchase agreements, financing terms, and other transaction-related documents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, identifying opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation.
  • Support the Acquisitions team with related tasks to advance the company’s acquisition initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CCIM) preferred.
  • 1 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investment banking, or a related field; familiarity with various asset classes preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills; experience with real estate valuation software (e.g., ARGUS) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment principles, market dynamics, and deal structuring.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
