Position : Production Operator III Location : Sparks, MDDuration : 1 Year ContractStart Time : 06:30 AMEnd Time : 03:00 PMTotal Hours/week : 40.00( Mon- Fri)Qualifications
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work effectively in a team setting to reach common goals.
  • The membership of these teams will be frequently changing and will include both new and tenured associates.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to understand and work within specified Quality procedures.
  • Work or interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning and Purchasing as needed.
  • Must be able to operate required packaging equipment and complete instrument packaging.
  • Must be able to perform standard material handling functions for instrument raw materials and sub-assemblies.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Comply with physical requirements specified in the Occupational Analysis.
  • Must be able to pass required periodic skills certification requirements.
  • Must be able to effectively manage frequent assignment changes.
  • Justification Continued increases in the demand for many instruments requires additional headcount to meet the demand.
Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks necessary for the manufacture of medical instruments.
  • Under general supervision, works independently on routine duties.
  • Assignments may be complex and require ability to operate a variety of production equipment and follow manufacturing procedures.
  • Conducts all activities to comply with Safety and Quality Standard and Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
  • Testing Operations - Must demonstrate the ability to: Perform tests on sub-assemblies using test tools and established procedures.
  • Record appropriate test data as required. Drawing Interpretation - Must demonstrate the ability to: Use and interpret moderate to complex drawings.
  • Perform addition and subtraction of fractional values as required. Identify most electrical, electronic and mechanical components from engineering drawings and sketches.
  • Electrical Assembly - Must demonstrate the ability to: Perform point-to-point wiring on sub-assemblies and instruments.
  • Mechanical Assembly - Must demonstrate the ability to: Correctly use a variety of manual, electric and pneumatic tools.
  • Use precision measuring equipment and interpret measurements and results. Set torque values on applicable tools from specifications or drawings.
  • Perform simple electro-mechanical assembly operations Complete transactional paperwork accurately and completely.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work effectively in a team setting to reach common goals.
