Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals diagnosed with autism, implementing behavior management techniques and assisting with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with individuals with autism to implement behavior intervention plans
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology in daily interactions
- Apply behavior analysis techniques to support clients' progress
- Administer medications via inhalation as prescribed
- Collaborate with special education professionals to enhance client outcomes
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality

Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) support
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication
- Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
- Competency in administering medications via inhalation as needed
- Understanding of special education principles and practices
- Strong ability to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Adherence to HIPAA regulations for client privacy and confidentiality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
