Experience: It is required that an applicant have a minimum of two years’ experience working with ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) clients within the community in order to be considered for ILST services (or one-year experience with a bachelor’s degree). If Allied Community Resources cannot verify the applicant’s experience in our system, the applicant must produce documented experience such as a letter from previous employer(s) detailing the position held, dates of employment and specific duties performed.
Summary/Objective: Observe, direct, teach and facilitate the learning and behavior of each client in performing activities necessary for successful daily living. For this role, activities are aimed at reducing the clients disability, assisting in restoring functioning and help achieve living skills-sets necessary for independent living.
