Job DescriptionConstruction Assistant Superintendent (SE Michigan) will be responsible for:
- Supporting the superintendent in overseeing daily operations on construction sites.
- Ensuring projects adhere to schedules and budgets by monitoring progress and addressing delays or issues promptly.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assisting in managing personnel on site, including laborers and subcontractor teams.
- Enforcing site safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conducting quality inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed to uphold construction standards.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, documentation, and progress updates for project stakeholders.
The Successful ApplicantConstruction Assistant Superintendent (SE Michigan) must have the following:
- Experience with commercial construction projects up to at least $10M
- Experience reviewing construction documents (submittals, plans, specifications, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- OSHA-10 certification
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in a related field (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.)
- Salary: $75,000-$100,000
- Bonus Potential - up to 10%
