About You

We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our team! The right candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and a desire to provide superb customer service.

Primary Accountabilities

The day-to-day duties of this role include:

• Identifies and document service, maintenance, and repair services for customers
• Advises customers on needed repairs; determines and recommends maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle
• Schedule appointments
• Communicates and consults with technicians
• Prepares a complete, accurate estimate of cost for repairs
• Works with warranty guidelines and extended warranty companies
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Ensure that all factory and OSHA training is up to date
• Communicate directly with the technicians so customers are informed if any additional services are needed
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Monitor the progress of vehicles throughout the day, updates the customers frequently
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers

Service Advisor Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical operations of motor vehicles
• Energetic personality
• 2 years’ experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer competencies and willingness to learn new programs
• Excellent customer service skills, positive, friendly attitude, with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate with other team members effectively
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
