Quality Technician

Location: Portland, ME, 04102

Job Description:

The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards. This includes conducting inspections, testing, and analysis of products and materials. The Quality Technician will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all quality-related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and tests on products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
  • Maintain accurate records of all quality-related activities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
  • Perform statistical analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Communicate quality issues and recommendations to management and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software
