Patriot Fleet Services is Hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Near Portland, ME
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (“PM”), DOT Inspections and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
- Perform diagnostics, adjustments, and repairs on various types of trucks and equipment.
- Independently manage parts inventory and equipment provided on company-issued service truck.
- Maintain and operate company-issued service vehicle.
- Document vehicle repair history using company-issued Laptop computer.
- Work with a high degree of independence and manage your own daily schedule.
- Communicate with management and support team.
- Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, to include OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet Patriot Fleet Services minimum driving qualification standards.
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment or within 72 hours of hire.
- Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as Diesel Technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences.
- Must be at least 21 years or older.
- $75,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually depending on experience
- Profit Sharing bonuses
- Uniforms provided with laundry service where available.
- Take service truck home daily.
- Laptop & company cellphone provided.
- Company provided diagnostic computer.
