Tech Services of NJ is Hiring an Electrical Project Manager Near South Plainfield, NJ

Urgently hiring an electrical service manager! (NOT AUTO)

As the electrical service manager and estimator you will run the electricians schedule and price quote the electrical installation and repair jobs for our clients.

You will get health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation, paid sick days, paid holidays, 401k matching and much more!

Requirements:

5 years experience managing an electrical service department and technicians.
5 years estimating commercial and Industrial electrical installation, repair and construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day operation of our electrical service and installation department
  • Provide supervision and technical support to electricians and maintenance technicians.
  • Produce accurate estimates of material and labor costs for repairs, installation and construction projects.
  • Prepare and send accurate electrical repair and installation estimates and provide supporting documentation to customer.
  • Work closely with customers, technicians and office personnel.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in estimating installation practices and methods.
  • Proficient in understanding plans, project specifications, utility requirements and electrical equipment specifications
  • In depth knowledge of NEC requirements and other industry standards
  • Work closely with Subcontractors, Engineers and Area Development Managers during the estimating/tender process - building stable working relationships.
  • Acquire vendor pricing on materials, equipment and systems
  • On-site visits and supervising of work.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and people skills a must
  • Strong ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects, and work with minimal supervision
  • Computer skills a must.
