Multi-state legal recoveries Firm seeks Attorney to join its South Pasadena office. This is a 'hands on', commission-eligible position.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and approval of collection files placed with the Firm
• Representation of clients in civil debt collection matters within the state.
• Approval and execution of pleadings for timely and consistent case progression
• Regular contact with courts, opposing counsel, and consumers to manage and resolve cases
• Docket management including trial preparation, claim prove-up, and post-judgment enforcement
• Appear at hearings and trials throughout the state
• Aide in the management and supervision of cases including exception and queue oversight

Required skills and experience:

• Currently licensed and in good standing with the CA State Bar
• Thorough understanding of California Civil Practice law
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Disciplined work ethic
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word and Excel
• 1-3 years' experience in high-volume civil litigation practice preferred

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
