Orthodontic Sterilization and Records Technician

Must have dental experience

Office Name : Wu Orthodontics

Location : 1525 Fair Oaks Avenue South Pasadena, Ca 91030

Travel to South Pasadena Fair Oaks, Sierra Madre and Claremont Locations as needed

Schedule :

• Monday to Wednesday : 8 : 15 AM - 5 : 30 PM
• Thursday : 9 : 15 AM - 6 : 30 PM
• Select Fridays : 8 : 15 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Position Overview :

As an Orthodontic Sterilization and Records Technician at Wu Orthodontics, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children have a lifetime of beautiful smiles! If you have a heart for children and enjoy working with a fun team of like-minded professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities :

• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, maintaining OSHA quality standards.
• Enter patient information accurately into permanent dental records.
• Assist with taking dental x-rays as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Key Skills :

• Working knowledge and experience with dental digital charting.
• Back office dental experience; sterilization and orthodontic experience are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, take direction, and be a flexible team player.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a desire to grow professionally.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a dental or orthodontic office, specifically with sterilization and x-ray procedures.
• Certification in dental radiography is required
• OSHA certification Required
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and dental office protocols.
