About us
Zen Zalea Botanicals is a small, handmade self-care business in based in El Dorado, CA. We have had a market presence in South Lake Tahoe for three years and established a solid customer base in town. Hailey, the maker and owner of Zen Zalea Botanicals will be in town often to restock products and work local events as well.
We have 4 events a week in South Lake Tahoe starting in June, and will require reliability once commited for the season. Our work environment at markets includes:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a . As a , you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for holistic self-care and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist customers with technical sales, including explaining product specifications and assisting with purchasing decisions
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing and keeping inventory clean and ready for sale.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively assist customers
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Requirements:
- Excellent reliability & trustworthy.
- Top notch communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers
- Basic knowledge of technology for assisting with social media follows, sales and helping build our online presence.
- Quick learner with the ability to gain new product knowledge as they are released.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
