Techni-Cast Corp. is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near South Gate, CA
Techni-Cast Corp. is the largest centrifugal casting foundry in the western United States that manufactures components in a variety of alloys. Our products are used in multiple industries, including aerospace, marine, oil and mining.
Our company is looking for a motivated, CNC Programmer, with a minimum 5 years' experience at CNC Lathe Programming. Someone with a strong attention to detail for a full-time position.
In a collaborative environment, the applicant will work with engineers, CNC Programmers, and other machinists to troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Experience in CNC LATHE Programming a must.
-Creating CNC programs and machine instructions.
-Ability to read blueprints to determine dimensions and production process
-Capable of selecting cutting tools, machine speeds and feed rates
-Writing instructions, tool lists and setup sheets
-Revising and editing programs to eliminate errors or omission.
-Capable of figuring out set-ups, typical tooling fixtures and indicating target diameters, hole alignments and spindle run-out.
-Running, monitoring and troubleshooting programs in production.
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience using SmartCAM, Autodesk Inventor HSM or Fusion30 preferred
-Experience with reading blueprints and knowledge of precision measuring devices.
-Able to understand CNC G & M codes.
-Must be able to pay attention to detail and consistently follow detailed procedures in order.
-Work collaboratively as part of a team, showing a professional attitude and a service-oriented mindset.
-Demonstrated track record of reliable, on-time attendance, able to work overtime as required.
-Verification of employment eligibility via E-Verify will be required at the time of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
