We are looking to add one full-time (30-35 hours) or two part-time (15-20 hours) members to our small team.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting patients in the selection and purchasing of cannabis products that would best suit their needs. Along with, providing information about different strains and their effects, while ensuring a positive and safe experience for all patients. Previous industry experience is not required but a passion for the plant, motivation to continue learning, the ability to adapt within the industry, and exceptional customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and welcome patients, while providing exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
- Maintain product knowledge and educate patients by staying up-to-date with new strains, products, consumption methods, and industry trends
- Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations
- Accurately and efficiently handle cash transactions using a cash register / POS system
- Ensure the store is clean and organized
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining strict attention to detail
- Maintain online menus and process online orders
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure the store is well-stocked at all times
- Processing deliveries, labeling, stickering, etc.

Requirements:
- Previous retail experience/cash handling
- Knowledge of cannabis strains, effects, and consumption methods
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, as well as other staff members
- Reliable and punctual
- Must obtain a RIC (Registry Identification Card), and there is a $51 fee for the RIC application
- Must be 21 years or older, with a High School diploma, equivalent, or related work experience
- Must be a U.S. resident, with a valid State Driver's license
- Must be able to pass a Maine state-required background check
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, evenings, holiday shifts, and inclement weather.
