Schedule: In-office, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

How You’ll Do It

As part of our internal IT team, the IT Support Specialist is the main point of contact for providing support to our users and our vendors. Using technology and interpersonal skills to document and solve end user’s technology issues. 

• Responsible for documenting issues and resolutions in the company ticket system.
• Provides technical support for all systems and equipment
• Independently manage and maintain assigned computer systems and/or processes.
• Independently manage and maintain assigned vendor relationships
• Review tickets for proactive methods to prevent problems.
• Responsible for hardware evaluations and recommendations
• Create and maintain various reports as requested for users
• Supervise, maintain and upgrade where appropriate data exchanges between remote worksites
• Adhere to company security policies and help hold other accountable for security
• Maintain and update project task list and communicate progress to Director of IT
• Continually strengthen internal client relationships and increase internal client satisfaction
• All other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field/experience
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple priorities/projects
• Experience in implementing effective and innovative technology solutions
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Possess advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office programs and server systems
• Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to manage others
• Strong technical proficiency in various software, systems, desktops, servers, networks, and storage

Physical Requirements: To successfully perform the essential duties and position responsibilities of this job, the individual is required to have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb stairs, lift and manipulate light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds. The position requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/ finger dexterity including the ability grasp. Must have the visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment, read and write the application information. The individual is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
