In This Role You WillProvide Project Management (PM) expertise. In concrete you will:
- Manage projects that have scale or business complexity with clear expected outcomes
- Manage all aspects of the project including the diagnosis, charter, PM structure and ways of working, project governance, plan design and implementation through to delivery and close
- Demonstrate appropriate stakeholder management across all levels of R&D
- Translate high level strategies into clear objectives/deliverables with agreed timelines
- Ensure the potential business benefits of projects are well characterized and quantified by holding the business lead (BL) and project teams accountable
- Manage and coordinate across the team members of the project to ensure the deliverables are met, risks/issues are managed and that the projects deliver at pace
- Leverage standard Industry & Client's PM and CM methodologies and execute agreed project management strategies for successful implementation and embedding of the project
- Demonstrate appropriate influencing skills and independent thinking when working with a broad range of R&D employees, from senior leaders to subject matter experts
- Support the creation and delivery of the change management plan, management of the impacts, and issues/risks associated with the change
- Use agreed approaches to measure and monitor business readiness for change, and measure effectiveness of change management strategies, plans, deliverables, and outcomes
Qualifications & SkillsWe are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific or business discipline with substantial industry experience
- Experience in navigating decisions and/or execution through multiple parties in major, matrixed organizations
- Stakeholder management expertise
- Communication expertise
- Change experience
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing projects and coordinating teams towards effective and successful delivery
- Previous experience with problem resolution, systematically evaluating alternative courses of action and creating a resultant plan of action
- High level of intellectual agility and adaptability; an ability to undertake diverse packages of work in varied situations/environments; be comfortable with ambiguity
- Qualified Program/Project Manager (e.g., APM, PMI, PRINCE), Agile experience would be advantageous
- Qualified Change Manager (e.g., PROSCI, APMG, CMI)
- Matrix leadership
- Demonstrated experience in risk management
