Job Summary
Somerset Community College (SCC) is accepting applications for a Student Support Specialist II- College Navigator for the Raise Program.
College Navigators will work with departments across SCC to ensure holistic student support is provided to all students.
This position is grant funded through the Title III : Strengthening Institutions Program.
Job Duties :
Develops relationships and implements strategies that increase success and retention for
students, with a focus on those identified as at-risk as described in Title III
administration as well as service area communities
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 2 years of work related experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university (social work, education, counseling, or a related field), and two to three years of experience working
with youth and adults in group and / or individual settings, or Associate Degree (related field) and three years related work experience.
