Job Summary

Lead quality assessment and validation activities to support minor change or new model launch program milestones.

Support model-based issue prioritization and cross-functional quality improvement activities.

Work with cross-functional regional stakeholders to ensure Customer VOC is captured for minor change or full model change event adoption.

Work with MFG & R&D program management teams to ensure that feedback is integrated into the project and that key quality kpi's are achieved at each milestone phase of the project.

Report quality results and action plans to executive management.

Report top field quality concerns to responsible technical investigation departments for investigation and resolution.

Communicate top concern resolution status to entire field product quality improvement management teams.

Analyze key market indicators to identify priority issues to be addressed.

Job Knowledge and Skills

Must have an in depth understanding of automotive technology, product knowledge, product quality related information systems and related processes

Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes and quality control processes

Strong project management, data analysis, problem solving and communication skills

Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Years of Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant professional level automotive experience

Education

BSME or any engineering degree or technology
