St. Catherine’s is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Our Registered Nurses:

  • Coordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span
  • Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups
  • Coordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient/provider relationship along the continuum of care

Qualifications: 

  • Passion for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nursing and versatility
  • New Graduate Registered Nurses are welcome
  • 1 Years working RN experience preferred
  • New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • ANA certification or certification from appropriate agency in specialty preferred

The range for this position is $49.53 - $58.19 per hour. 

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
