Acclaro is Hiring an Assembler/Production Near Smithfield, RI

SUMMARY: The selected candidate will work with a team in a manufacturing environment performing a variety of operations to assemble, Test, and potentially troubleshoot, electro-mechanical systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to correctly assemble/test medical devices. They will be responsible for maintaining product flow, quality, and work schedules. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, drawings, and procedures.
  • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
  • Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
  • Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management (redlining procedures/drawings, troubleshooting, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • To be considered for this role, you must have 1 - 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing assembly in a regulated environment.
  • Strong skills in trouble shooting electro-mechanical systems.
  • Up to 100% sitting, standing, and walking in an 8-hour workday.
  • Occasional lift/carry, pushing and pulling of up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings.
  • Assembly using basic handheld and power tools.
  • Effective English communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills.
  • Understands Quality and the effect it has in a production environment.

· Performing quality checks on products and parts

· Packaging finished products and preparing them for shipment.

· Interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists

· Assembling components; fastening parts and subassemblies

· Manual dexterity

· Working knowledge of various machines and hand tools

· Basic computer proficiency

Experience:

· 1 - 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing assembly
