Welcome to Live Oak Pediatric Dentistry! We are searching for a dental assistant and receptionist to join our rapidly growing pediatric dental office. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a start-uppractice with state-of-the-art technology and an amazing work environment. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with parents, provide encouragement to our pediatric patients, and be a great team player! Experience working in a pediatric setting and/or dental office is preferred.

Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00-5:00pm. Additional days will become available as we grow!

Commitment to working Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays is needed!

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

· Excellent customer service

· Assist the dentist with dental procedures and behavior management

· Dental cleanings/prophys, impressions, and radiographs

· Sterilization lab duties

· Assist with treatment under sedation or general anesthesia

· Assist with treatment of patients with special health care needs

· Maintain patient records and treatment plans

· Provide dental education to patients and their family members

Certifications (preferred but not required):

· Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA)

· Basic Life Support (BLS)

· Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $24.00 per hour
