Position Overview:

Are you a dynamic and passionate educator with a love for science? We're seeking a High School Biology Teacher who can inspire and enrich the lives of our students through the fascinating world of scientific inquiry. If you're ready to ignite a love of learning and guide students through the complexities of biology, including Advanced Placement (AP) Biology, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement captivating lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and align with curriculum standards.

•Foster a supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore scientific concepts.

•Introduce students to a wide range of biological topics, fostering critical thinking and analysis skills.

•Cultivate students' scientific inquiry and experimentation skills through hands-on laboratory activities.

•Prepare students for standardized tests and provide support for academic growth and development in biology, including AP Biology.

•Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

•Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine desire to inspire a love of science in students.

•Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

•Previous high school teaching experience, preferably in a college preparatory program.

•Strong knowledge of biology, including foundational concepts and advanced topics covered in AP Biology.

•Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources.
