A full line mechanical supplier of packing house equipment in Sioux City, Iowa is looking for a CNC Machine Operator. This position works both independently and on a team to operate a CNC Machine that makes custom parts that go into packing houses. This is a great opportunity to work with a long-term, reputable company in Sioux City. This is skilled CNC Machine Operator with G Coding Programming with only one position available. Responsibilities
- Check CNC Machinery to ensure it is in good working order before set up
- Set up machinery to successfully conduct the run as specified
- Conduct all programming as required
- Monitor the run throughout the cycle, checking that specifications are met
- Perform all necessary machine maintenance
- Follow safety standards at all times
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1 years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer or similar role
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions
- Ability to read tape measure
- Must have attention to detail
- Must have experience with G Coding Programming
- $21/hr overtime pay
- Paid every Friday
- Direct Deposit and/or Paycards Available
