Maintains, services, and conducts minor repairs on buildings, apartments and equipment. Performs a variety of entry level duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, dry wall, machine servicing, electrical, or vehicle servicing. Complies with established safety guidelines and procedures.

• Able to perform cleaning procedures and waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.
• Able to assist in the general maintenance of grounds and buildings.
• Able to operate all snow removal equipment. (Shovel snow for periods of up to three hours).
• Able to assist in the proper care and use of janitorial equipment.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to follow facility safety programs.
• Able to follow Resident’s Rights Policies at all times.
• Able to observe infection control procedures related to Housekeeping Department.
• Able to come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
• Able to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
• Able to perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Responsible for knowing and following Sunrise’s compliance policies and procedures.
• Able to appropriately record work orders in maintenance software.
