coachConsultation Services:

• Provide guidance and support to Child Development staff on managing challenging behaviors and creating a positive social-emotional climate in the classroom.
• Assist In-home Interventionists with issues during home visits and address concerns of both parents and children.
• Partner with staff to address parent concerns and provide support at the Center for Family Success.
• Offer advice and strategies based on social-emotional assessments.
• Support Adult Education staff with managing the classroom environment and addressing parent concerns.

Program Planning and Delivery:

• Assist staff with planning and delivering services effectively.

Support Strategies:

• Provide specific strategies for social-emotional growth of children in the classroom or at home, and coach staff and parents on implementing these strategies.

Meetings and Counseling:

• Attend monthly meetings with staff and participants.
• Offer limited counseling services to parents.

Professional Development:

• Conduct workshops for both staff and parents on relevant topics.

Mental Health Activities:

• Providing limited mental health-related activities for participants.

Field Trip and Activity Support:

• Offer consultation services for field trips or activities outside the center.

Qualifications:

• The applicant must hold appropriate professional mental health licensures, certifications, and educational background.
• Minimum of two years experience working with families with children aged 0-4.

Flexibility:

• The applicant should be flexible to accommodate the center's hours of operation, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A comprehensive approach to addressing the mental health and social-emotional needs of families and staff within the Family Support Center is required for this job.
