At this time, we are looking for multiple Garage Attendants for various locations in the Sarasota center and Siesta Key, FL areas. Position Highlights:

- Hiring for Full and Part-time Schedules! All shifts are either during the day or evening hours.

- Earn $16 - $17/hr.

- Offers are subject to vary by role and starting pay rate, and will be determined based on one's abilities, character, and skills in providing an excellent guest experience.

We are hiring Valet Parking Attendants to be the front-line to our customers while parking their cars in a professional and responsible way. In addition, we are looking for reliable, professional workers to operate our commercial properties under management.A UPP, Valets and Parking Attendants play a vital role in the success of the company. They are the first person to greet and welcome our clients and customers, and the last person they’ll interact with upon departure. A pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance!

Due to our practice of promoting from within, UPP staff are subject to merit-based reviews after an initial employment period. This position is responsible for greeting arriving guests, assisting them as they exit their vehicle and parking their car efficiently and safely. Top-Notch guest experiences are vital to this role’s success, so going above and beyond is the common service level. Upon departure, the Valet Attendant runs at full speed to retrieve the departing guest’s vehicles, safely transferring it into their control, and leaving a lasting warm impression. Serious applicants should be engaging, skilled service workers who possess an outgoing personality; a polished, professional demeanor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome guests in an attentive, at-your-service readiness.
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Provide exceptional services to all guests in a confident, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Be responsible for parking and retrieving guests vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner
  • Assist guests with directions, information/recommendations on local activities/attractions, and other inquiries as needed
  • Assist hotel guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departure
  • Assist hotel with bell service, taxis, reservations, information about meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility
  • Transport guests via the hotel shuttle service where applicable
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the shift
  • Must provide excellent customer service, always going above the call of duty.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
  • Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
  • Must maintained and groomed, professional appearance
  • Must possess a current drivers’ license with at least one year of experience
  • Must undergo a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
