Well respected Community HealthCenter seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to provide direct patient care and customerservice. Duties include but are not limited to assisting providers duringpreparation and provision of patient visit, interviewing patient’s andobtaining reason for visit, room preparation, specimen collection andprocessing, medication administration, documentation in electronic healthrecord and patient discharge. Facilitates communication between internal andexternal customers.
Compensation: $18.71 Per Hour
Bonus Up To $7,000
Education:
· HighSchool Diploma or GED required.
· MedicalAssistant Diploma or completed a United States Armed Forces medical servicestraining program required.
· Minimumof 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant.
· Anycombination of education and work experience that meets the necessary skillsrequired will be considered.
· CardiopulmonaryResuscitation (CPR) certification required.
· ValidFingerprint clearance card required.
· CertifiedMedical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire.
· Musthave reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of theorganization during the workday.
· Validdriver's license and proof of insurance may be required if driving during workhours and/or if requesting mileage reimbursement.
