Additional qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience in similar or related manufacturing operation(s).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Quicken) and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

What You’ll Do: The Senior Accountant will work closely with our Chief Financial Officer to analyze financial data, ensure accurate cost allocations, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimize operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain cost and inventory controls, policies, and procedures.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to cost accounting activities.
• Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Analyze variances between actual costs and standard costs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team.
