Nesco Resource client is seeking a tax director to lead a small team in Shelton. Oversee and direct all aspects of the Company's tax department. You will have 10 years of experience in corporate income tax compliance, sales & use, property tax, solid interpersonal skills, understanding of tax software such as CCH and advanced Excel. This is a hybrid position - 1-2 days in the office/week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct all aspects of Company's tax department
• Review and approve alll Sales & Use Tax Returns, Personal Property Returns, management of the re-billing of property tax.
• Prepare US Federal, State and local corporate income tax returns.
• Prepare the supporting schedules and workpapers for the audited financial statement tax provision and footnotes.
• Review compliance issues, applicable tax criteria and advise upper managment on minimmizing tax burden.
