Position Title: Fabricator
Location: Shakopee, MN
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team in Shakopee, MN.
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and repairing metal and other materials to create finished products according to customer specifications.
This role requires a strong attention to detail, proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and fabrication process.
Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various tools and equipment, such as welding machines, saws, grinders, and drills.
Weld, braze, solder, or rivet components together to assemble fabricated products or repair damaged parts.
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in metal fabrication or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience operating fabrication tools and equipment, including welding machines, saws, grinders, and drills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
