Job Description

Currently we are looking for a cook to help us provide quality care to our residents. A qualified cook will have the physical stamina to prepare meals and have a current food handler's permit.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare quality food for our residents.
- Complete food prep up to two days in advance.
- Keep the kitchen clean and disinfected.
- Take inventory of products and report when something needs to be refilled or ordered.
- Oversee culinary assistants and handle issues as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements :
- Pass a physical exam.
- Be able to life up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
- See and hear well enough to read fine print on labels, measuring cups, etc, and hear timers throughout the kitchen.
- Remain active and on their feet for up to four (4) hours at a time.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a background in cooking for large groups and will have a history of high quality food and customer service! They will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude and portray a positive image.
