Hello! We are a private dental office looking to hire an experienced expanded functions dental assistant (EFDA). Our team currently consists of 1 dentist, 2 dental assistants, 1 hygienist, 1 office manager, 1 front desk personnel and a therapy dog. Must be okay working in an office with 2 dogs present. As a prosthodontic office, our patients are mostly of adult and geriatric age. Procedures offered range from restorative to surgical, with more emphasis placed on the restorative aspect. Procedures you can expect to assist with will include:
It is imperative that you are able to and feel comfortable fabricating provisional prostheses for both the anterior and posterior teeth, whether short or long span. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, proper occlusion is also important. The right person would likely be someone possessing the following qualities:
The position is for full time employment, four days per week (M, T, Th, F), although the opportunity exists if you are interested in working half days Wednesday. The pay range for this position is commensurate with experience and includes a benefits package.
