Universal Logistics is Hiring a Tire Technician Near Selma, TX
Universal Logistics is currently seeking experienced assemblers out of our San Antonio, TX facility. This position is responsible for assembly of wheels, tires, and related components on the line. Assemblers ensure a quality product for placement in a safe and timely fashion, and ensure all products are assembled, tested, and verified to customer specification.
Job Duties Include:
- Building wheels and tires in an efficient, quality driven manner
- Meeting productivity, safety, and quality goals set by the company
- Reporting to line leader, supervisor, and/or direct manager any problems that could interfere with the delivery of the product to the customer
- Ensuring a clean working environment
- Observing company policies and ensuring that all policies are conformed to, including work instructions, SOPs, and safety rules
- Supporting the quality and environmental policies and management systems
- Other duties as assigned
Shift and Pay:
Starting Times: 6am – 2:30pm
Pay: $18.25/hour to start
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of the production line and production parts for assembly
- Mechanical background or skills
- Motivational Skills
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
