Under the general direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, the Monitor Technician is responsible for operating the monitoring equipment on the Telemetry Unit. The Monitor Technician is responsible for observing the adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient's cardiac rhythms. The Monitor Technician observes these rhythms on a continuous basis, to rapidly detect and report dysrhytmias to assure proper treatment.
Essential Functions:
Education and Experience:High School Diploma/GED required Must complete a four week in-house training course and pass annual dysrhythmia exam required
