Junior Tax Accountant
Secaucus, NJ 07094
Duration - 5 months contract
Pay rate: $25 - $31/hr on W2
Job Requirements:
- Prepare check requests for co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions.
- Process co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions.
- Ensure the tax calendar is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with tax notices.
- Assist with preparation of federal 1120’s and state income and franchise tax returns.
- Assist with preparation of state income / franchise tax returns.
- Assist with preparation of state tax estimates and extensions for various states.
- Assist with calculation of state and local tax apportionment factors.
Required Knowledge:
- Must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Utilizes good time management and prioritizes tasks.
- Knowledge of Corptax US Compliance tax software is a plus.
Education:
- Accounting or Finance Degree required.
License/Certification:
- Accounting or Finance Degree required (Required)
